The Beginning

I have forgotten so much in my many years writing code that it sickens me. As a person who rarely works on the same type of project twice I often solve a problem or figure out a technique and then never need it again. Six months later I hear from a friend a similar problem to one I had before but I cannot remember how I did it. This is my attempt to remember.
